Quiet reading. Small gatherings.
Illustrative study — not product output
Reading rooms and a meeting room face one courtyard. Arrival and gathering share the same route.
Trade-offA clear common centre; quiet readers pass through the shared activity.
Where do people enter? What stays quiet? What gets shared? Architectural ideas need decisions you can inspect and change.
We’re exploring how AI collaborators can help carry those decisions through editable work and meaningful revision—with your judgment shaping the direction.
A neighbourhood reading room.
An original illustrative study.
Give individual readers a quiet place, and a small group somewhere to meet. Let them share a centre without forcing every arrival through the same activity.
Reading / Meeting / ArrivalRooms face one courtyard. The meeting room and reading rooms share the arrival sequence.
The west wing splits around a side passage. Arrival can bypass the meeting room; two smaller reading rooms replace one larger room.
The revision changes access, rather than dressing up the first scheme. It also gives up reading space. That trade-off stays visible.
Three responses to the same brief.
One spatial definition across plan and model.
A specific decision, with a visible consequence.
Illustrative study — not product output. These are authored schematic drawings, not AI-generated architecture or a construction-ready proposal.
Transparent about the present.
Specific about the next step.

Prototype work informs the productBring the pieces together around a shared proposal: alternatives, editable work, criticism, and a considered next version.
That end-to-end public application has not launched. The illustrative study above explains the intention; it does not demonstrate the software.
Public product access: not launchedSiyeol Choi is building Ratatouille from his work in architecture. He develops and uses its prototype components while shaping software for architects working on concept proposals.
Public product access has not launched. The founder is the first user of the prototype components. You can join for occasional project updates; joining does not create an account or reserve access.
The first focus is individual architects developing concept proposals—people comparing spatial possibilities, developing editable work, and deciding what should change.
No. The reading-room study is an authored illustration of a design process. Its alternatives, critiques, and revisions were written and drawn for this website. It is not product output.
Separate experiments explore native model editing, drawing projections, rendering, and recorded critique. Connecting those components into a coherent end-to-end public application is ongoing work.
